Setting new standards in Lytham, Lancashire

For local businessman Stephen Mawdsley Tuesday 1st June marks the culmination of eight months hard work when he opens the doors of the latest Bairstow Eves estate agency in Market Square Lytham.

Stephen, who is bi-lingual, has recently returned home after many years in Spain running his own successful property and legal services business. “I decided that after fifteen years in Spain it was time to bring the family back to our roots and look for business opportunities in the area. We looked at numerous enterprises but I really wanted to run my own business and also use my previous property skills. I was attracted to the Bairstow Eves franchise as it gave me the opportunity to build my own business with the backing of the UK’S biggest estate agency network. The Bairstow Eves name is very well known in the area as a quality estate agency which shares my own business ethics for providing a quality, professional service” he adds.

The superbly located branch has undergone a complete makeover and now boasts a stylish contemporary feel with a comfortable reception area,extensive property display facilities and a state of the art IT system.

The branch offers sellers the opportunity to showcase their home on possibly the widest selection of websites in the area including Rightmove, Primelocation, Findaproperty and homesandproperty together with their own dedicated site Bairstoweves.co.uk and Countrywide’s new national website Propertywide.co.uk. “In these challenging times for the housing market we believe that sellers need to display their property to the widest possible market” he says.

Stephen is joined by experienced estate agent Warren who has many years of estate agency experience and has previously worked for Countrywide in both the southeast and southwest UK. Warren is able to offer help and advice to both sellers and landlords throughout the Lytham area. “I see this as a fantastic opportunity to offer buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants, the levels of customer care and service synonymous with the Bairstow Eves name.
